Professional Background:
I received my Masters in Counseling from Wake Forest University in January 2025. I completed my practicum and internship at Compass Health where I worked with individual clients and groups. My therapeutic approach combines person centered therapy, CBT and Attachment Theory. Prior to becoming a counselor, I received my undergraduate degree from Duke University with a major in economics. I worked for much of my career in senior care which is why I am passionate about treating senior clients. I am also passionate about developing resilience in clients and helping overcome anxiety and depression. Therapeutic Approach: I have an eclectic theoretical orientation. My way of being is based on person centered therapy. My way of understanding is based on attachment theory. My way of intervening is based on CBT. Personal Background: I live in Seattle, WA where I am raising my two elementary age children. I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, skiing and rock climbing.
